On My Doorstep is a network of Community websites in the UK and this is the ideal opportunity for the right candidate to join a rapidly expanding business. With over 1200 individual sites already active we are seeking a self motivated IT specialist with specific Web Development skills to maintain and develop the current network and manage our servers.
The successful applicant will possess excellent people skills being able to communicate in a polite and personable manner. The ability to work on your own initiative and approach the job with a high level of enthusiasm are also desirable attributes. The job is based at our offices in Crowborough we are only interested in hearing from people who can work full-time at this location.
Essential technical skills:
Excellent HTML and CSS can confidently create complex web pages
PHP 5+
Javascript
MySQL
Smarty on a Linux framework
Bug fixing experience is desirable
Must be pro-active able to use own initiative and good at problem solving
This is a permanent position. Salary negotiable and subject to experience.
