Were looking to build up our portfolio of UK/London based freelancers who we call on to help with our work flow. Successful candidates would ideally be able to work from our Chiswick office. Here are types of work were looking to fulfil:
Web Builder - Someone who has a good eye for design usability and look and feel. Someone who can take a design in Photoshop and turn it into a css based table-less xhtml web page. Someone who only uses Dreamweaver as a text editor. No WYSISYG. Work in Homesite and Ill really be grateful. Knowledge of PHP ASP (VBScript) or .Net would be bonuses but not absolutely necessary. Freelance rate 15 - 25 / hour.
Web Designer - Someone who has a good eye for design usability and look and feel. Someone who can produce designs in Photoshop that will work in a 1024 x 768 browser or any screen resolution. Someone who knows what Im talking about in that last sentence. Knowledge of print POS product etc. design would be a bonus. Freelance rate 20 - 35 / hour.
Flash Developer - Someone who can work in Flash MX and upwards. Knowledge of ActionScript 2 and 3 would be a bonus as we do get calls to develop games and more interactive interfaces. Its not an absolute requirement as we do just get simple banner builds too. Freelance rate 20 - 35 / hour.
Online System Developer - Someone who can build web sites from scratch in XHTML PHP PERL ASP (VBScript) .Net. Someone who can use databases like MySQL and MS SQL Server so a good knowledge of SQL queries phpmyadmin and SQL Server Management Studio are a must. Someone who has a good understanding of usability and can design and build interfaces into web sites that are usable as-well-as robust and secure. AJAX would be a bonus but not absolutely necessary. Someone who would be happy to alter their coding style to fit in with the company house style. Be aware of SQL injection and XSS vulnerabilities in sites and code in factors to mitigate these. Freelance rate 20 - 35 / hour.
