An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior web developer to join a lively close knit team and gain experience in a relaxed friendly and creative environment. We are looking for a talented designer/coder with an open-mind to join our team based in Chelmsford Essex who can:
Be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing web applications
Assist in programming the templates interfaces scripting and other matters requiring programming skills
Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
Perform coding to written technical specifications.
Investigate analyse and document reported defects.
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Knowledge of PHP MySQL Photoshop and Linux is essential as well as basic web design skills and CMS experience. Knowledge of Drupal will be a significant advantage.
The role entails working as part of a small team and the candidate must be a clear thinker with excellent analysis problem solving communication skills.
