Multi-faceted role in a small software company

Intrinsiq is a small well established software development company offering bespoke database applications to a variety of markets. We need an additional contractor who will be able to assist us on a part time basis maybe one or two days a week initially but building up over a period of time to do more. In the future this could well be a full time position as the business and your expertise in our software grows.
There is a need for both customer facing skills and technical skills. A typical day could include:
Answering and dealing with support calls/emails the majority of the support work is done by remote connection to the clients PCs so there isnt a need to travel to customer sites on a daily basis.
Development work on existing systems
Visiting clients to spec out new work our clients are mainly based in the South East of England therefore someone who is based in the South East and has their own transport would be preferred.
We have legacy systems developed using MS Access and newer systems developed using Visual Studio (C) with a SQL Server back end. Useful technical skills will be MS Access (VB) Crystal Reports SQL Server Visual Studio C software development experience and a knowledge of servers and networking.
